Our Story
NettShield came into being when our founders, industry veterans who have been in key positions in the insurance and technology industries, witnessed exceptional underwriters and risk managers buried in manual "administrivia". They also saw insurers, MGAs, and program managers forced to price, sell, and service policies and claims without the benefit of real-time intelligence, often resulting in significant underwriting losses.
Beyond operational bottlenecks, they recognized a looming existential threat. The rise of "nuclear verdicts" and social inflation, which frequently pierce primary coverage limits, demanded a shift. They quickly realized that in a market defined by geopolitical tensions and trade disruptions, the old-school carrier model that worked during the stable 80s and 90s would not be sustainable.
NettShield was built to harness the power of artificial intelligence to keep up with the rate at which the marketplace is changing. It empowers insurance providers to process complex data at market velocity. Additionally, it allows the creative minds behind the desk to stop managing paperwork and start innovating.
